2008 SPRING SCHOOL PICTURE
- Tuesday, 2/26/08.
- Picture payment must be "PREPAID".
- Photo order envelope scheduled to be sent home with student on Monday, 2/25/08. Additional order form may be downloaded by accessing Garrison Mill homepage via Cobb County School District home page.
- Returned order envelope must include:
1. Student Name
2. Teacher Name
3. Grade
4. Package Selection
5. Dollar amount Enclosed
- Student should take picture order envelope directly to the photographer on picture day, 2/26/08.
- Only those students purchasing individual package will be photographed for optional package.
- Class picture is available as spring package option.
- RETAKE IS NOT AVAILABLE ON SPRING PHOTO.
- Please direct any inquires regarding student photograph to Georgia Classic Images at 770-428-3717 or by mail to P.O. Box 2621, Kennesaw, GA 30156.

- Picture order envelopes must be delivered directly to the photographer on picture day, 10/16/07.
- Parent/legal guardian will contact Gerogia Classic Images at 770 428-3717 or mail to P.O. Box 2621, Kennesaw, GA 30156, regarding photograph order submitted two days after 10/16/07 or any questions regarding photograph order.
- Photographs taken during this session will be included in the Garrison Mill 2007/2008 Yearbook.
- Retake date will be, Tuesday, 11/20/07.
We have available for you the Performing Arts Series Parent Donation Letters for the 2007-2008 school year. this year we will be distributing letters to all grade levels on 9/12/07.
Permission form must be completed for each child regardless of contribution. Please retain all completed permission forms received for your 2007/2008 Performing Arts record.
All donations should be turned in by September 28, 2007, in compliance with Judith Lindsay, Supervisor of Visual, Performing and Theater Arts.
Parent Letter printed in Spanish will be available. Due to limited quantity, it is available upon request from front office.
Please remind students and parents to deposit donations into two black boxes located in main hallway. Do not forward payment envelopes with attendance folder to the office. Any permission slips enclosed in payment envelopes will be returned to respective teachers. School staff must not handle these envelopes to obtain a permission slip.
Teacher will indicate that the permission slip has been received on a Class roster List or equivalent.

§ Picture payment must be “PREPAID”
§ Photo order envelopes are sent home with students on 2/8/07.
§ Returned order envelope must include:
1. Student name
2. Teacher name
3. Grade
4. Package selection
5. Dollar amount enclosed
§ Photo order envelope may be deposited by either student or parent in black boxes located in the main hall.
§ Picture order envelope may be deposited in black boxes until Wednesday, 2/21/07.
§ Picture order envelope submitted on picture day, 2/22/07, must be delivered directly to the photographer.
§ Homeroom class picture is available with spring package options.
§ Retake is not available for the spring photo.
This year CCSD has installed new financial program for school accounting. This new program no longer will provide information which were available through our previous program.
I have been informed by the county financial services dept that contribution information regarding individual student cannot be released for the purpose to send 2nd and subsequent notices to collect donation. When second notice is required, entire class must receive 2nd and subsequent notices of donation for the field trip. I am permitted to provide teacher with total collected funds. You may notify parent regarding missing permission slip.
In accordance with county mandate, student statements will be provided at least twice each school year. Any time during the school year, when a parent has inquiry or requests information regarding their child/ren's contribution status, copy of student statement can be provided for the current year.
I apologize for the inconvenience. Changes in the new financial program were not informed and as I continue to learn about the program, I will inform you of any changes which may affect you.

§ Picture order envelopes must be delivered directly to the photographers when submitted on picture day, 9/26/06.

§ Retake date to be determine.
The county guidelines can be found on pages 5 through 7 in the Field Trip Handbook
1. Grade level field trip coordinator will complete the Field
Trip request packet in the first section of the green note-
book in the mailroom. Make copies of the following
forms from the "Field Trip Forms - 1 Day" section:
a. Field Trip Request
b. Field Trip Checklist
c. Cobb County Permission to Participate in
One Day Fieldtrips
2. Coordinator will complete the Field Trip Request and
Checklist (a & b above) and return to Assistant Principal.
Packet must be turned in at least
20 days before the trip.
3. Assistant Principal will:
a. Put Field Trip on school calendar or notify contact person
if there is a conflict.
b. Send packet to Bookkeeper
4. Bookkeeper will notify teacher when it is OK to send home
permission slip and request for money.
No notice should be sent home until
OK is given by bookkeeper.
5. Grade level field trip coordinator will contact Cafeteria
Manager if trip will involve sack lunches. This needs to
be done as soon as trip is put on the school calendar,
at least 20 days before the trip.
Please remember to check GPS/QCC's for your grade level to make sure your trips relate to the standards for your grade level. With the changes in the standards, some topics are moving to different grade levels.
