4th and 5th graders really enjoyed their field trip to the Georgia Department of Transportation. Students met the GDOT's chief engineer for bridge design, Mr. Paul Liles, who offered an insider's look into the operations of the bridge department. Students then spent time with experienced bridge designers who provided hands-on opportunities for our students to use their computer programs. We appreciated Mr. Liles' and the GDOT's generosity in providing us this opportunity. And of course, we appreciate our parents for donating the funds to make this trip possible!
