Welcome to 5th Grade

I hope you all are enjoying your summer. I am so excited to start the 2009-2010 school year with you. 5th grade is exciting but expect to work really hard! My expectations will be set high from day one and I guarantee that you will be ready to go to Mabry when the year is over! I am looking forward to getting to know each of you and your family very well.  Here is some information about me. I am a mom of two middle schoolers who keep me very busy when I am not in school. I like to go to the movies and read. My favorite thing to do is box, it is how I stay healthy! Eating healthy and exercise are very important to me. I love coffee, Mexican food and peanut butter. I do not like pencils without erasers, messy rooms and wasting time. Over the summer I enjoyed the pool, the beach  and cooking great meals for my family. I also attended a math and science workshop to gain more knowledge about how to teach you better! I love to learn new things. Now rest that brain and enjoy your summer, school will be back in session before you  know it!
