What is going on in the classroom?
Theme: Finish-up Nursery Rhymes....Begin Classic Stories (oldies but goodies)
Words of the Week: go & me (please review these words during the week with your child) We suggest writing the words on flashcards and finding them in books. Why should I help my child learn these words? The 60 sight words are found in our Kindergarten reading books. This will help the students gain confidence and begin the reading process.
Writing Workshop: Beginning the writing process
*Student will draw a picture and dictate the sentence to the teacher.

Thanks for a great Open House. We appreciate all the support and interest in your child's schooling.
Please remember to write your child's name on EVERYTHING (snacks, water bottles, coats etc).
Our classroom can get chilly, please feel free to send in a coat/sweater for your child to wear during the day.
