A couple of quick notes as the year draws to an end...
I'd like to say a huge thank you to my wonderful class. They were as well behaved as possible last week and I appreciate that. I loved all of the homemade cards I received for Christmas, as well as the Amazon gift card. It will be nice to be able to add books to my Kindle collection! I sent home individual thank you notes, but in case you didn't see them, I really appreciate all of the wonderful gifts I received this year. Thank you for thinking of me during this holiday season.
I'm sure you received this information from the PTA, but I wanted to pass it along just to make sure you were aware of this change to the bus policy:
NEW BUS PASS POLICY
Garrison Mill
Due to the high volume of riders this year, effective Tuesday, January 10, 2012, we will no longer allow students to ride home on a different bus. Students will still be permitted to get off at a different stop on their bus route provided they have a note from their parent and a pass from the front office. Any exceptions to this rule must be approved by the Cobb County Transportation Department. We appreciate your cooperation as we work to make sure all of our students arrive home safely.
I hope you have a wonderful, restful, relaxing break. Enjoy this time with your family and friends! I will see everyone back at GM on Tuesday, January 10th. I hope you are ready for some exciting learning in the new year! I know I am ready for some fun and exciting lessons.
Happy New Year,
Mrs. G
