What's Happening....Week of September 22, 3008
Hi Everyone!
It is now my turn to write the blog and I am very excited. Thank you for such a great week and behaving so well while Mrs. Golden was absent.
The Native American Projects have been awesome! Everyone has worked so hard on them and it showed in your presentations. I can't wait to see the rest of the projects on Monday. Our next unit for Social Studies will be World Explorers.
We will continue our unit on Weather and Weather Instruments. We will find out the difference between weather and climate this week and the different types of precipitation. We will have our science test next week.
Don't forget your spelling test on Monday, September 22, 2008. Study those challenge words! Challenge words for this week: explorers, expedition, gauge, climate, inference, connection, kingdom, condition, caravan, record, merchant, voyage, and finance.
We will continue working with Fly Away Home by Eve Bunting. Does punctuation make a difference in your reading and writing? We will find out this week.
Question of the week: We just finished Dear Mr. Henshaw by Beverly Cleary. What part of the book was your favorite?
See you Monday!
Mrs. Verma
