Week of 9/2/08
It's a short week, but there is a lot happening.
You will continue your study of Native Americans in social studies and begin studying clouds and weather in science.
We are over 1/2 way finished with "Dear Mr. Henshaw". We will continue to read the book together this week, as well as work on activities that go with the book.
Everyone will meet for guided reading tomorrow, since we were out on Monday.
Our spelling unit 2 test will be next Monday. You got your weekly homework today, and it will be due Monday before the test. Your challenge words for the week are: evaporation, condensation, accumulation, precipitation, multiplication, division, addition, subtraction, weather, and hurricane. The skill we will be testing this week is the /k/ sound.
