Dear Parents...

Scholastic book orders - Thanks to all who ordered in September.  We had over $200 in orders, so we got a lot of bonus points to spend on books.  I got a number of book sets with the bonus points, along with a dustbuster for cleaning up small messes in our classroom. 

The September books should be in Tuesday.  If they arrive before the end of the day, I will send home orders that afternoon.

I am sending home the October book orders today (Monday).  The orders can be placed until October 10th.  I will place the order on the 11th of October.  Please continue to use the online system.  The information should be below, or archived under September blogs.

Can you help us?  We need the following supplies in our classroom - post-it flags (We use these to mark our new concepts in science and social studies notebooks.  Every time we start a new unit, we use 45 of one color.  I've provided the last few units, but would really appreciate any donations.  They are the flags that are about an inch wide, not the really narrow ones.  They usually come 3 colors to a package.) 

We will also need more full sized candy bars for our behavior party in a few weeks. 

Please start collecting toilet paper rolls.  Send them in and I will place a basket in the room, for your child to put them in.  We will use these for several projects this year.

I hope you are clipping your boxtops for education.  You can send them in anytime.
