Fun Run Success Story

Thanks to the GME Foundation and our wonderful Garrison Mill families, we were able to raise over $28,000 for technology.  The students enjoyed the activity and the faculty enjoyed the enthusiasm and support of the Boosterthon team.  Thank you so much for your financial support!

Doodle 4 Google

Google Logo

All K-12 students in the U.S. are invited to design a Google logo inspired by the theme, "What I wish for the World."  Doodles will be judged on artistic merit, creativity and representation of the theme among other criteria.  The winning doodle will be announced at an event in New York City on May 20th and displayed on Google's homepage on the following day.  After the competition is over, the top 40 winners' doodles will be displayed in a national exhibit at Cooper-Hewitt in NYC.

The entries must be submitted through the school.

New Cameras

Thanks to the PTA, the students now have an additional six digital cameras to utilize for those high-tech classroom projects.

Thank you parents!

Graphic Tablet

Thanks to the PTA, we have new graphic tablets at each workstation in the computer lab.  They were installed this past Thursday night, December 11th.  Most of the students scheduled to use the Lab on Friday were already creating their own graphic designs.  What a difference a pen makes!  It is much easier to draw a circle, etc. with a pen than with a mouse or touch pad.

Thank you PTA!Dancing_snowman
