As we approach Thanksgiving Day tomorrow, we are reminded by the many blessings that surround us daily. One such blessing surrounds us 7 hours per day...your children. :) We know we say it often, but we can't express how fortunate we are to work with both your children and you. Thank for you for a great few months. Enjoy the time with your family this holiday. We leave you with what we're thankful for for each child...
Charlie B.: Awesome class participation skills--we can always count on his hand to be up!
Molly: Friendliness to ALL students--she is most often invited to "lunch bunch" by her peers.
Jenna: How well she shares with others--we can always count on Jenna to share the hula-hoop at recess when others tend to want to keep it for themselves.
Charlotte: Genuine love of school and homework this year--such motivation is a teacher's dream!
Elyse: Good sportsmanship during class games--we can always hear Elyse giving a "good try" to one of her classmates.
Alexis: Smile and positive attitude--in response to the question "How are you doing?" in the mornings, we usually get, "AWESOME!!"
Charlie G.: Quiet drive to succeed--he may be soft spoken, but he'll sneak up on the AR sticker chart to attempt to take the lead!
Skyler: Go with the flow personality--while the recent tornado drill "ruffled a lot feathers," Skyler stayed cool, calm, and collected.
Katie: Daily hugs--gotta love the fact that 2nd graders still love their teachers!
Josh: Great leadership skills--the students really look up to him as a behavior and academic role model.
Parker: Gentleman like behavior--we appreciate how he's quick to stack absent students' chairs in the afternoon...without being asked.
Olivia: Help toward the teachers--she's quick to volunteer for a project for us during her own recess time.
Ferris: Sweet nature--she never becomes "short" with people nor raises her voice at others.
Sarah: Accepting of ALL personalities--we love that she genuinely enjoys partnering with students outside her close circle of friends.
Julianna: Politeness--every day, she greets us with, "Good morning Mrs. Smith / Brown, how are you today?"
Rolando: Perseverance--he has such a high tolerance for frustration we could give him any assignment to tackle.
Cade: Good manners--he always apologizes in response to being corrected. Of course, we always forgive him. :)
Connor: Wit--he keeps us smiling!
Mitchell: Happy-go-lucky personality--he takes everything in stride.
Wills: Work efficiency--she never wastes time completing work and gets it done quickly and correctly.
William: Good attitude--he is very well liked by his peers.
Happy Thanksgiving!
