Parents,
I hope your Thanksgiving was wonderful! Hopefully everyone will come back refreshed and ready to learn.
I just wanted to remind you that Immigration Day is Tuesday. The memorized poem and family tree are also due on that day, although I encouraged them to bring it Monday to avoid having to drag it with them on Tuesday. On Tuesday, they will need to come dressed in their immigration clothes and have their $20 of play money. Also, if they are bringing food, they would need to bring that with them in the morning also. Please use throw away containers or label your name on the dish. If you are contributing paper goods, it would be great to have those tomorrow, so we can begin getting set up after school. The students will also want to bring a change of clothing for after the Ellis Island Simulation.
