Welcome to First Grade! This will be a very exciting year and one of tremendous growth both mentally and physically. I am looking forward to a fantastic school year! Let me begin the year by telling you a little about me.
I am a Connecticut native and have been living in the state of Georgia since 1985. I am the proud mother of two wonderful sons. My house is "divided" because one of my sons is a University of Georgia graduate while my other son is a graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology. Needless to say, football season brings out the best in all of us!
My education includes a BS in Elementary Education, an MS in Education with a concentration in Reading and a Specialist degree in Educational Leadership. I also completed Cobb County's Leadership Academy in April 2009.
I love children and teaching. I thoroughly enjoy teaching at Garrison Mill Elementary School.
I look forward to both meeting and working with you and your child this year.
